I am a chartered physiotherapist with over 10 years experience in physiotherapy including working with elite sports professionals. Having graduated with a First Class Honours in Bsc Physiotherapy from Coventry University I believe in a holistic approach to treatment and have a great passion for continuing to develop my knowledge and skills.
During my professional career I have gained valuable experience through work in Outpatients, Respiratory, Musculoskeletal, Orthopedics, Neurology, Pain management, Women's health and Sports Physiotherapy including work with Somerset County Cricket Club.
As a chartered physiotherapist and registered member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), and Physiofirst I have the support to enable me to provide the highest standards of patient care, including continued professional development into 'best practice', treatment methods, and the use of continually updated, member only libraries, journals and information services.
What To Expect...
Your first appointment will last around 45 mins.
Patient History - Initially I will go through a brief history of your problem to understand what is going on within the body.
Initial Assessment - I will then take this information and look at the affected area. This assessment will allow me to understand what is going on with the body and how it presents itself.
Treatment - Depending on the assessment I will use all the adjuncts of treatments I have to discuss a treatment plan with you, using this I can then treat you and discuss future sessions.
Subsequent appointments should last around 30 mins.
Update - I will ask for a brief update on how the problem is, what the effect was of the last treatment and if there are any questions outstanding? I’ll then assess the area again.
Treatment: I will then continue with the treatment plan, adjusting treatments as necessary

Having struggled with back issues for many years since coming to Erika I have managed to keep my issues calm enough to allow me a lead a very active life. Erika is a lovely person she is a fabulous physiotherapist!
Erika has always been very friendly as well as extremely professional and knowledgable. She has helped me to fix a longstanding problem that I thought I would have to learn to deal with. She has helped me reach personals goals and day to day life more comfortable.
Having suffered with painful arthritic knee for several years I was fortunate to be recommended to Erika. She is extremely professional, motivated, attentive, highly skilled and caring physio who I trust implicitly. Erika instantly address the root cause of the problem with my knee and the pain simply disappeared.
I've been receiving physio from Erika for several years now, initially for tendinitis in my feet and, more recently, for RSI in my shoulder. Erika is always friendly and professional. I have recommended her to lots of people and everyone speaks highly of her.
Erika was recommended to me 6 years ago as a highly qualified and respected chartered physiotherapist who really cared about her patients and so it has proved to be in my case. I have been diagnosed with severe spinal stenosis and was told physiotherapy would not help. I had difficulty crossing roads but in due course I could run if necessary and in general, thanks to Erika, I am able to enjoy being very active. In "emergency or very needy situations" she has been prepared to go above and beyond to fast-track an appointment to achieve they remedy in a timely fashion.
I am based in the beautiful village of Bathampton, three miles from the edge of Bath and in easy reach of a number of local villages and towns: Batheaston, Bathford, Limpley Stoke, Claverton
